इदं मद्वचनात् क्षत्त: कौरवं ब्रूहि पार्थिवम् । यावदिच्छति पुत्राणां श्राद्ध तावद् ददाम्यहम्
idaṁ madvacanāt kṣattaḥ kauravaṁ brūhi pārthivam | yāvad icchati putrāṇāṁ śrāddhaṁ tāvad dadāmy aham ||
Wika ni Arjuna: “O khṣattṛ (tagapangasiwa), iparating mo ang aking mga salita sa hari ng Kuru. Para sa mga ritong śrāddha ng kanyang mga anak, gaano man kalaki ang nais niyang yaman, iyon ang aking ibibigay.”
