राक्षसाश्न ददुस्तस्मै वराहमहिषावुभौ । कुक्कुटं चाग्निसंकाशं प्रददावरुण: स्वयम्‌

Transliteration

rākṣasāś ca dadus tasmai varāha-mahiṣāv ubhau | kukkuṭaṃ cāgni-saṅkāśaṃ pradadāv aruṇaḥ svayam ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Ang mga Rākṣasa ay naghandog sa kanya ng dalawang hayop—isang baboy-ramo at isang kalabaw. At si Aruṇa mismo, kapatid ni Garuḍa, ay nagkaloob ng isang tandang na nagliliyab ang kulay na parang apoy.
