Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

तस्य दर्शनमिष्टं वो यदि देवा विभावसो: । तत्रैवमधिगच्छध्वं कार्य वो यदि वल्लिना,“देवताओ! यदि आपको अग्निदेवका दर्शन अभीष्ट हो और यदि उनसे आपका कोई कार्य हो तो वहीं जाकर उनसे मिलिये

tasya darśanam iṣṭaṃ vo yadi devā vibhāvasaḥ | tatraivam adhigacchadhvaṃ kāryaṃ vo yadi vallinā ||

Sinabi ni Bhīṣma: “O mga diyos, kung nais ninyong masilayan si Vibhāvasu (Agni), at kung may gawain kayong dapat tuparin sa tagapagdala ng tungkod, doon na rin kayo magtungo at makipagtagpo sa kanya.”
