Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

ततोडब्रुवन्‌ देवगणा: पितामहमुपेत्य वै । कृताञ्जलिपुटा: सर्वे शिरोभिरभिवन्द्य च,इस प्रकार विवाद उपस्थित होनेपर समस्त देवताओंने ब्रह्माजीके पास जा दोनों हाथ जोड़ मस्तक झुकाकर उनको प्रणाम किया और कहा--

tato 'bruvan devagaṇāḥ pitāmaham upetya vai | kṛtāñjalipuṭāḥ sarve śirobhir abhivandya ca ||

Nang sumiklab ang alitan sa gayong paraan, ang lahat ng pangkat ng mga diyos ay lumapit kay Pitāmaha Brahmā. Magkakasalikop ang mga palad sa paggalang at nakayuko ang mga ulo, sila’y nagbigay-pugay at saka nagsalita—humihingi ng patnubay upang maibalik ang kaayusan at mapangalagaan ang dharma.
