Prosperity is linked to disciplined conduct: self-control, a pleased and steady mind, respectful service to cattle, and adherence to prescribed purificatory observances.
Vyāsa is instructing on dharmic observances connected with tending cows and a brief regimen of warm cow-products (three days of warm cow’s urine followed by three days of warm milk) as a purificatory discipline.
