एकेनैव च भक्तेन य: क्रीत्वा गां प्रयच्छति । यावन्ति तस्या रोमाणि सम्भवन्ति शतक्रतो

Transliteration

ekenaiva ca bhaktena yaḥ krītvā gāṃ prayacchati | yāvanti tasyā romāṇi sambhavanti śatakrato ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Kung ang isang tao’y bumili ng isang baka at pagkatapos ay ihandog ito, kahit sa iisang gawa ng taos-pusong debosyon, kung gayon—O Śatakratu (Indra)—kung gaano karami ang balahibo ng bakang iyon, gayon din karami ang mabubuting bungang nagtitipon (sa naghandog).”
