Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
प्रयतो ब्राह्मणाग्रे यः श्रद्धया परया युत: । उपस्पर्शनषड्भागं लभते पुरुष: सदा
bhīṣma uvāca | prayato brāhmaṇāgre yaḥ śraddhayā parayā yutaḥ | upasparśana-ṣaḍbhāgaṃ labhate puruṣaḥ sadā ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Ang taong may pagpipigil-sa-sarili at, taglay ang sukdulang pananampalataya, ay nagpapakumbaba sa harap ng isang brāhmaṇa, ay laging nagkakamit ng meritong katumbas ng ikaanim na bahagi ng merito ng isang handog—sa bisa ng gayong mapitagang paglapit.
