भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! इस प्रकार नक्षत्रोंक योगमें किये जानेवाले विविध वस्तुओंके दानका संक्षेपसे यहाँ वर्णन किया गया है। नारदजीने देवकीसे और देवकीजीने अपनी पुत्रवधुओंसे यह विषय सुनाया था ।।
bhīṣma uvāca—rājan! evaṃ nakṣatrayoge kriyamāṇānāṃ vividha-vastūnāṃ dānānāṃ saṃkṣepeṇa iha varṇanaṃ kṛtam. nāradena devakyāḥ sakāśāt, devakyā ca sva-putravadhu-bhyaḥ ayaṃ viṣayaḥ śrutaḥ. iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi nakṣatrayogadānaṃ nāma catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ. iti dānadharmaparvaṇi nakṣatrayoga-sambandhī dāna-nāmakaḥ catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
Sinabi ni Bhishma: “O Hari, dito ay naisalaysay nang maikli ang sari-saring uri ng mga handog (dāna) na dapat ibigay kapag nagaganap ang mga nakshatra-yoga, ang mga pagsasanib ng mga bahay-bituin ng buwan. Ang aral na ito’y narinig ni Nārada mula kay Devakī, at si Devakī naman ang naghatid nito sa kaniyang mga manugang na babae. Sa gayon nagwakas ang ika-animnapu’t apat na kabanata ng Anushasana Parva, sa bahagi ng dharma ng pagbibigay, na pinamagatang ‘Mga Handog na Kaugnay ng Nakshatra-yoga.’”
भीष्म उवाच
