दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च

Gifts and Their Stated Results: Footwear, Sesame, Land, Cows, and Food

तस्य राज्ञ: शुभै राज्यै: कर्मभिननिर्वृता नरा: । योगक्षेमेण वृष्टया च विवर्धन्ते स्वकर्मभि:

tasya rājñaḥ śubhaiḥ rājyaiḥ karmabhiś ca nirvṛtā narāḥ | yogakṣemeṇa vṛṣṭyā ca vivardhante svakarmabhiḥ ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Sa ilalim ng haring iyon—sa pamamagitan ng mapalad na kaayusan ng kanyang pamamahala at ng katuwiran ng kanyang mga gawa—nanatiling nasisiyahan ang mga tao. Sa gayong lupain, napangangalagaan ang yogakṣema, ang katiwasayan at kagalingan; dumarating ang ulan sa takdang panahon, at umuunlad ang mga nasasakupan sa sarili nilang mabubuting gawain.”
