तस्मिन् विमाने सौवर्णे मणिस्तम्भसमाकुले । महाहें शयने दिव्ये शयानं भूगुनन्दनम्
tasmin vimāne sauvarṇe maṇistambhasamākule | mahāheṃśayane divye śayānaṃ bhṛgunandanam ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Doon, sa ginintuang palasyong lumilipad, na siksik sa mga haliging may hiyas, nakita ko ang marangal na inapo ni Bhṛgu na nakahimlay sa isang dakila at banal na higaan.”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores reverence for spiritually potent lineages (Bhārgavas) and conveys that extraordinary inner merit and tapas are mirrored by extraordinary surroundings; it frames ethical authority as something recognized and honored, not merely asserted.
Bhīṣma describes a vision/scene: within a golden vimāna adorned with gem-pillars, he sees Bhṛgu’s descendant reclining on a splendid divine couch, emphasizing the figure’s exalted status.
