Ānṛśaṃsya–Bhakti: Śukaḥ Śakreṇa Parīkṣitaḥ

उनके इस प्रकार पूछनेपर शुकने मस्तक नवाकर उन्हें प्रणाम किया और कहा --देवराज! आपका स्वागत है। मैंने तपस्थाके बलसे आपको पहचान लिया है! ।।

Transliteration

tato daśaśatākṣeṇa sādhu sādhv iti bhāṣitam | aho vijñānam ity evaṁ manasā pūjitas tataḥ ||

Translation

Nang tanungin nang gayon, yumukod si Śuka at nagbigay-galang, at nagsabi: “O hari ng mga diyos, maligayang pagdating. Sa lakas ng aking tapas, nakilala kita.” Pagkarinig nito, si Indra na may sanlibong mata ay nagsambit, “Mahusay, mahusay!” at sa loob-loob ay nag-isip, “Kay pambihirang pag-unawa!” Kaya’t kahit walang hayagang pagpapakita, pinarangalan niya ito sa kanyang isipan.
