Viśvāmitra-janma: Ṛcīka–Satyavatī–Gādhi and the Charu Exchange

The verse highlights the efficacy of tapas and focused intention: when the mind is disciplined and spiritually empowered, results can arise through dharmic, non-violent means—suggesting that inner mastery can be more potent than external force.
Bhīṣma narrates that Ṛcīka, simply by contemplating, causes a thousand moon-bright, powerful horses to emerge from the waters of the Gaṅgā—an event presented as a manifestation of ascetic/spiritual power.
