Anuśāsana-parva 17
उपमन्युरुवाच ब्रह्मप्रोक्तैर्ऋषिप्रोक्तैवेंदवेदाड्रसम्भवै: । सर्वलोकेषु विख्यात॑ स्तुत्यं स्तोष्पयामि नामभि:
Upamanyur uvāca—brahma-proktair ṛṣi-proktair eva ca veda-vedāṅga-sambhavaiḥ | sarva-lokeṣu vikhyātaṁ stutyaṁ stotuṁ yāmi nāmabhiḥ ||
Sinabi ni Upamanyu: “Sa pamamagitan ng mga pangalang itinuro ni Brahmā, ipinahayag ng mga rishi, at sumibol mula sa mga Veda at sa mga sangay na pantulong nito, pupurihin ko ngayon ang Panginoon—kilala sa lahat ng daigdig at karapat-dapat sambahin.”
