Anuśāsana-parva 17

गभस्ति््रह्यकृद्‌ ब्रद्मी ब्रद्मविद्‌ ब्राह्मणो गति: । अनन्तरूपो नैकात्मा तिग्मतेजा: स्वयम्भुव:

gabhastir brahmakṛd brahmī brahmavid brāhmaṇo gatiḥ | anantarūpo naikātmā tigmtejāḥ svayambhuvaḥ ||

Wika ni Vāyu: “Siya ang ningning na tulad ng Araw; ang tagapaghayag ng Brahman (ang mga Veda); ang tagapagbigkas ng Veda; ang nakaaalam ng kahulugan ng Veda; ang banal na nananatili sa Brahman; at ang sukdulang hantungan ng mga nakatatag sa Brahman. Siya’y may walang-hanggang mga anyo, hindi nakakulong sa iisang katawan, at may naglalagablab na kaningningan—umiiral sa sarili.”
