स्वदेशे परदेशे वाप्यतिथिं नोपवासयेत् । कर्म वै सफल कृत्वा गुरूणां प्रतिपादयेत्
Bhīṣma uvāca | svadeśe paradeśe vāpy atithiṁ nopavāsayet | karma vai saphalaṁ kṛtvā gurūṇāṁ pratipādayet ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Maging sa sariling lupain o sa banyagang lupain, huwag hayaang may panauhing manatiling gutom. At anumang gawain na iniutos ng mga nakatatanda o mga guro, dapat itong tapusin nang matagumpay at saka ipabatid sa kanila.
