Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 28
भीष्म उवाच रजसा तमसा चैव समवस्तीर्णचेतस: । नरकं प्रतिपद्यन्ते धर्मविद्वेषिणो जना:
bhīṣma uvāca rajasā tamasā caiva samavastīrṇacetasaḥ | narakaṁ pratipadyante dharmavidveṣiṇo janāḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Yaong ang isip ay lubusang nalalambungan ng rajas (pagnanasa at pagkaligalig) at tamas (kadiliman at kamangmangan), kaya napopoot at sumasalungat sa dharma, ay tiyak na bumabagsak sa impiyerno.
