प्रयत: प्रातरुत्थाय यदधीये विशाम्पते । प्राज्जलि: शतरुद्रीयं तन््मे निगदत: शृणु
prayataḥ prātarutthāya yadadhīye viśāmpate | prāñjaliḥ śatarudrīyaṃ tan me nigadataḥ śṛṇu prajānātha ||
Wika ni Vāyu: “O panginoon ng mga tao, araw-araw akong bumabangon sa bukang-liwayway, pinipigil ang isip at mga pandama, at nakapagdaup-palad kong inuusal at pinag-aaralan ang Śatarudrīya. Makinig habang ito’y aking ipinahahayag sa iyo.”
