एवं व्युष्टिमहं प्राप्तो ब्राह्मणस्य प्रसादजाम् । यच्च मामाह भीष्मो<यं तत्सत्यं भरतर्षभ
evaṁ vyuṣṭim ahaṁ prāpto brāhmaṇasya prasādajām | yac ca mām āha bhīṣmo 'yaṁ tat satyaṁ bharatarṣabha ||
“Kaya sa gayon, sa biyaya ng isang Brahmin, nakamit ko ang maringal na gantimpala. At anuman ang sinasabi ni Bhīṣma na ito tungkol sa akin, O toro sa mga Bhārata, ay pawang tunay.”
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse underscores that spiritual or ethical attainment can arise from the grace (prasāda) of a righteous brāhmaṇa, and it highlights satya (truthfulness): authoritative testimony aligned with dharma should be accepted as true.
Vāyudeva states that he has received an excellent result due to a brāhmaṇa’s favor, and he affirms to the Bharata prince addressed (commonly Yudhiṣṭhira) that Bhīṣma’s statements about him are completely true.
