द्वारवत्यां समासीन पुरा मां कुरुनन्दन । प्रद्युम्न: परिपप्रच्छ ब्राह्म॒णैः परिकोपित:
Dvāravatyāṃ samāsīnaḥ purā māṃ Kurunandana | Pradyumnaḥ paripapraccha brāhmaṇaiḥ parikopitaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vāyu: “O ligaya ng mga Kuru, noong unang panahon, habang ako’y nananatili sa Dvāravatī, ang aking anak na si Pradyumna—na nagngitngit sapagkat pinukaw ng ilang brāhmaṇa—ay lumapit sa akin at nagtanong.”
