Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 6
ते ययु: शरणं विप्रानूचुस्ते कान् जयामहे । इत्युक्तास्ते द्विजान् प्राहुर्जयतेह कपानिति
te yayuḥ śaraṇaṃ viprān ūcuś te kān jayāmahe | ity uktās te dvijān prāhur jayateha kapān iti ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Lumapit ang mga diyos upang magkanlong sa mga Brahmana at nagtanong, “Sino ang aming dapat pagtagumpayan?” Nang magsalita ang mga Brahmana nang gayon, sumagot ang mga diyos, “Dito, daigin ninyo ang mga demonyong tinatawag na Kapa.”
