ममैषा सुप्रिया भार्या नैनामुत्स्रष्टमुत्सहे । “नारदजीके मुखसे उतथ्यकी यह बात सुनकर वरुणने उनसे कहा--“यह मेरी अत्यन्त प्यारी भार्या है। मैं इसे छोड़ नहीं सकता”
mama eṣā supriyā bhāryā nainām utsraṣṭum utsahe |
Sumagot si Varuṇa, nang marinig ang pakiusap: “Ito ang aking lubhang minamahal na asawa; wala akong loob na iwan siya.” Ipinakikita ng pahayag ang bigat ng tunggaliang moral sa pagitan ng pagtupad sa hinihingi ng iba at ng pag-iingat sa sariling pananagutan at bigkis ng pag-aasawa.
