अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)

आप ही स्वर्ग और मोक्ष हैं। आप ही काम और क्रोध हैं तथा आप ही सत्त्व, रज, तम, अधोलोक और ऊर्ध्वलोक हैं

āpa hī svarga aura mokṣa haiṃ | āpa hī kāma aura krodha haiṃ tathā āpa hī sattva, rajas, tamas, adholoka aura ūrdhvaloka haiṃ |

Ipinahayag ni Vāyu-deva: “Ikaw lamang ang langit at ang mokṣa. Ikaw lamang ang lumilitaw bilang pagnanasa at galit; at Ikaw lamang ang tatlong guṇa—sattva, rajas, tamas—gayundin ang mababang mga daigdig at ang matataas na daigdig.”
