Mahabharata — Anushasana Parva, Shloka 11

दण्डकानां महदू राज्यं ब्राह्मणेन विनाशितम्‌ । तालजंघं महाक्षत्रमौर्वेगेकेन नाशितम्‌

daṇḍakānāṁ mahad rājyaṁ brāhmaṇena vināśitam | tālajaṅghaṁ mahākṣatram aurvegekena nāśitam ||

Sinabi ni Arjuna: “Ang dakilang kaharian ng mga Daṇḍaka ay winasak ng iisang Brahman; at ang makapangyarihang lahing Kṣatriya na tinatawag na Tālajaṅgha ay nilipol ng pantas na si Aurva nang mag-isa.” Ang pahayag ay babala: ang kapangyarihan at angkan ay hindi panangga sa sinumang magpapagalit sa lakas na isinilang sa matinding pagninilay at matuwid na poot; ang adharma ay maaaring maghatid ng kapahamakan kahit sa pamamagitan ng isang taong may dakilang kapangyarihang espirituwal.
