सेवितं सततं राजन पुरा राजर्षिसत्तमै: । क्षत्रधर्मपरैर्नित्यं सत्यव्रतपरायणै:

Transliteration

sevitaṃ satataṃ rājan purā rājarṣisattamaiḥ | kṣatradharmaparair nityaṃ satyavrataparāyaṇaiḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “O hari, noong unang panahon ang (mantra/pagsasagawang) ito ay patuloy na isinasagawa ng pinakadakilang mga rishi na hari—mga taong laging tapat sa tungkuling kṣatriya at matatag sa mga panatang katotohanan. Palagi nila itong inuusal.”
