Transliteration

udīrṇaḥ sarvataś-cakṣuḥ anīśaḥ śāśvata-sthiraḥ | bhūśayaḥ bhūṣaṇaḥ bhūtiḥ viśokaḥ śoka-nāśanaḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Siya ang Kataas-taasan—nakakakita sa lahat ng dako, hindi nasasaklaw ng sinumang tagapaghari, walang hanggan ang katatagan at di-nagbabago. Siya yaong minsang nahimlay sa lupa; yaong nagpapaganda sa daigdig; ang saligan ng lahat ng kasaganaan at banal na kapangyarihan; Siya mismo’y walang dalamhati, at tagapagpawi ng dalamhati ng mga umaalaala sa Kanya.
