Shloka 331

वेद्यो वैद्य: सदायोगी वीरहा माधवो मधु: । अतीन्द्रियो महामायो महोत्साहो महाबल:

vedyo vaidyaḥ sadāyogī vīrahā mādhavo madhuḥ | atīndriyo mahāmāyo mahotsāho mahābalaḥ ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: Siya ang Dapat Makilala sa pamamagitan ng mga Veda, ang tunay na Manggagamot na nagpapagaling, laging nakatatag sa yoga; ang pumupuksa sa mga bayani; si Mādhava, si Madhu; lampas sa abot ng mga pandama, ang may hawak ng dakilang banal na māyā, may makapangyarihang pagpapasya at dakilang lakas. Sa pagbigkas na ito ng mga pangalan, pinupuri ni Bhīṣma ang kataas-taasang paghahari at kapangyarihang mapagkalinga ng Panginoon—bilang panloob na layon ng sagradong kaalaman at bilang mapagpasiyang puwersang nagtataguyod sa dharma sa pamamagitan ng pagdaig sa mapanirang lakas.
