महाबुद्धिर्महावीरयों महाशक्तिर्महाद्युति: । अनिर्देश्यवपु: श्रीमानमेयात्मा महाद्विधृक्
bhīṣma uvāca | mahābuddhir mahāvīryo mahāśaktir mahādyutiḥ | anirdeśyavapuḥ śrīmān ameyātmā mahā-dvidhṛk ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: Siya’y may malawak na talino, dakilang kagitingan, dakilang kapangyarihan, at maningning na karilagan. Ang Kanyang anyo’y lampas sa paglalarawan; Siya’y puspos ng banal na kasaganaan; ang Kanyang kaloob-looban ay di-masusukat; at Siya ang Dakilang Tagapasan—na minsang nagtaguyod ng malalaking bundok sa mga gawang nag-ingat sa daigdig.
