Adhyāya 152 — Bhīṣma’s Authorization for Yudhiṣṭhira’s Return to the Capital (नगरप्रवेशानुज्ञा)
शुश्रूषां परिचर्या च करोत्यविमना: सदा । सुप्रतीता विनीता च सा नारी धर्मभागिनी
śuśrūṣāṃ paricaryā ca karoty avimanāḥ sadā | supratītā vinītā ca sā nārī dharmabhāginī ||
Wika ni Maheshvara: Ang babaeng may isip na di nababagabag, na palagiang nagsasagawa ng masusing paglilingkod at wastong pag-aalaga sa tahanan—lubos ang pagtitiwala at mapagpakumbaba ang asal—ay nagiging karapat-dapat na kabahagi ng dharma at ng mga bunga nito. Inilalarawan ng taludtod ang katapatan sa pag-aasawa at kusang paglilingkod, na ginagawa nang may panloob na saya at kababaang-loob, bilang disiplinang etikal na landas na nagbubunga ng pinakamataas na gantimpalang panrelihiyon sa loob ng sambahayan.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The verse teaches that steady, willing service and care within marriage—done without resentment, with trust and humility—constitute a dharmic discipline through which a woman becomes a participant in religious merit (dharma-phala).
Śrī Maheśvara is instructing on household dharma, describing the qualities and conduct by which a wife is said to attain the best fruits of dharma: constant service (śuśrūṣā), practical care (paricaryā), inner cheer, trust, and modest behavior.
