सम्मान्यांश्षावमन्यन्ते वृद्धान्‌ परिभवन्ति च । एवंविधा नरा देवि सर्वे निरयगामिन:

Transliteration

sammānyān avamanyante vṛddhān paribhavanti ca | evaṃvidhā narā devi sarve nirayagāminaḥ ||

Translation

Minamaliit nila ang mga nararapat parangalan at nilalapastangan din ang matatanda. O Devi, ang mga taong ganito—lahat—ay nakatakdang mapunta sa impiyerno; sapagkat dahil sa kayabangan at kasakiman, tumatanggi silang igalang ang matatanda at ang mga karapat-dapat igalang bilang mga guro, at sa halip ay tinatrato sila nang may paghamak.
