नित्यं स हि शुभाचारो देवताद्विजपूजक: । शूद्रो धर्मफलैरिष्टे: सम्प्रयुज्येत बुद्धिमान्
nityaṃ sa hi śubhācāro devatādvijapūjakaḥ | śūdro dharmaphalair iṣṭaiḥ samprayujyeta buddhimān ||
Sinabi ni Maheshvara: Ang Śūdra na laging nakatatag sa mabuting asal, at gumagalang at sumasamba sa mga diyos at sa mga dvija (mga Brāhmaṇa), kung siya’y marunong, ay makakamit ang ninanasang bunga ng dharma—ang mga bungang hatid ng matuwid na pamumuhay.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The verse teaches that steadfast good conduct and reverence toward the divine and the learned (dvijas) bring the desired fruits of dharma, regardless of social station; wisdom expressed as disciplined behavior is what connects one to dharmic results.
