Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
पर्यड्क इव विश्राजन्नुपविष्टो महामना: । दिव्य धातुओंसे विभूषित पर्यकके समान उस पर्वतशिखरपर बैठे हुए महामना महादेवजी बड़ी शोभा पा रहे थे
paryaṅka iva viśrājann upaviṣṭo mahāmanāḥ | divya-dhātubhir vibhūṣitaḥ paryaṅka-samānaḥ tasmin parvata-śikhare upaviṣṭo mahāmanā mahādevaḥ mahāṃ śobhāṃ prāpa |
Wika ni Nārada: Sa tuktok ng bundok na iyon, ang dakilang-loob na si Mahādeva ay nakaupo at nagniningning nang marilag—gaya ng isang maringal na higaan o luklukan—na pinalamutian ng mga banal na mineral. Ipinapakita ng tagpong ito ang kamahalan ng kapangyarihang bunga ng pag-aayuno at pagninilay: ang tunay na kadakilaan ay hindi lamang palamuti, kundi ang liwanag na likás na kaakibat ng kataasang espirituwal.
नारद उवाच
The verse highlights that spiritual greatness (mahāmanas) naturally manifests as radiance and dignity; divine splendor is portrayed as an outward sign of inner ascetic power and sanctity.
Nārada describes Mahādeva seated on a mountain summit, shining like a magnificent couch and adorned with divine minerals, setting a reverential tone for the surrounding account.
