ब्राह्मणपूजायां व्युष्टिः — Vyuṣṭi (Merit-Outcome) of Honoring Brāhmaṇas: Kṛṣṇa and Durvāsā
किमर्थमृषिपूगस्य त्यक्तसड्रस्य नित्यश: । निर्ममस्यागमवतो विस्मय: समुपागत:,“महर्षियो! ऋषिसमुदाय तो आसक्ति और ममतासे रहित है! सबको शास्त्रोंका ज्ञान है, फिर भी आपलोगोंको आश्चर्य क्यों हो रहा है?
kimartham ṛṣipūgasya tyaktasaṅgasya nityaśaḥ | nirmamasya āgamavato vismayaḥ samupāgataḥ ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Bakit sumibol ang pagkamangha sa kapulungan ng mga rishi—na laging malaya sa pagkakapit, walang pag-aangkin, at bihasa sa mga banal na aral? Anong dahilan pa ng pagtataka sa mga tumalikod na sa pagkapit at nakaaalam ng śāstra?”
