यत्र ते नृपशार्दूल संदेहो वै भविष्यति । श्वः प्रभाते हि वक्ष्यामि संध्या हि समुपस्थिता,नृपश्रेष्ठी अब तुम्हें जिस विषयमें संदेह होगा, उसे मैं कल सबेरे बताऊँगा; क्योंकि इस समय संध्याकाल उपस्थित है
yatra te nṛpaśārdūla saṁdeho vai bhaviṣyati | śvaḥ prabhāte hi vakṣyāmi sandhyā hi samupasthitā ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “O tigre sa mga hari, anumang bagay na magdulot sa iyo ng pag-aalinlangan ay ipaliliwanag ko sa iyo bukas sa pagsikat ng araw; sapagkat dumating na ngayon ang dapithapon.”
