ऐन्द्रीं संध्यामुपासित्वा आदित्याभिमुख: स्थित: । सर्वतीर्थेषु स स्नातो मुच्यते सर्वकिल्बिषै:

aindrīṁ sandhyām upāsitvā ādityābhimukhaḥ sthitaḥ | sarvatīrtheṣu sa snāto mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ ||

Sinabi ni Bhishma: “Ang sinumang magsagawa ng sandhya sa umaga ayon sa kay Indra at tumayong nakaharap sa Araw, magkakamit ng gantimpalang tulad ng pagligo sa lahat ng banal na tirtha, at mapapalaya sa lahat ng dungis ng kasalanan.”
