Forest-Stage Discipline and Austerity
एवमेव समुद्दिष्ट: श्राद्धकालक्रमस्तथा । विधि: पात्र फलं चैव यथावदनुकीर्तितम्
evameva samuddiṣṭaḥ śrāddhakālakramas tathā | vidhiḥ pātra-phalaṃ caiva yathāvad anukīrtitam ||
Wika ni Śakra: “Sa gayon, naipahayag na ang wastong pagkakasunod ng mga panahon para sa pagsasagawa ng śrāddha; at ang paraan, ang karapat-dapat na tatanggap, at ang mga bungang makakamtan ay naisalaysay na rin nang ganap, ayon sa nararapat.”
शक्र उवाच
That śrāddha should be performed with correctness: the right timing, the prescribed procedure, suitable recipients (pātra), and an understanding that merit (phala) follows when the rite is done properly.
Śakra (Indra) concludes or summarizes an instruction: he states that the schedule for śrāddha, along with its rules, eligible recipients, and the resulting benefits, has been fully explained.
