मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
प्राजापत्ये वसेत् पद्म वर्षाणामग्निसंनिभे | वह मनुष्य तपाये हुए सुवर्णके समान कान्तिमान् विमान पाता है और अग्नितुल्य तेजस्वी प्रजापतिलोकमें नृत्य तथा गीतोंसे गूँजते हुए देवांगनाओंके महलमें एक पद्म वर्षोतक निवास करता है
Bhīṣma uvāca: prājāpatye vaset padma-varṣāṇām agni-sannibhe | tatra kalpa-sahasraṁ sa kanyābhiḥ saha modate ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Siya’y nananahan sa daigdig ni Prajapati sa loob ng isang ‘padma’ na sukat ng mga taon, maningning na gaya ng apoy. Doon, sa gitna ng karangyaan ng langit, siya’y nagagalak sa loob ng isang libong kalpa kasama ang mga dalaga.”
