Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
सद्यः प्रीणाति देवान् वै ते प्रीता भावयन्त्युत । संकल्पसिद्धा मर्त्यानामीप्सितैश्व मनोरमै:
sadyaḥ prīṇāti devān vai te prītā bhāvayanty uta | saṅkalpasiddhā martyānām īpsitaiś ca manoramaiḥ ||
Wika ni Śukra: Sa pag-aalay ng mga bulaklak (sa pagsamba), agad na napalulugod ng tao ang mga diyos. Kapag nalugod, ang mga diyos na yaon—na ang kalooban ay nagkakatotoo—ay nagpapasagana sa mga layunin ng tao, at nagkakaloob ng ninanais at kaaya-ayang mga kaluguran na nagtataguyod ng kanyang kabutihan.
