Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
यं यमुद्दिश्य दीयेरन् देव॑ सुमनस: प्रभो । मंगलार्थ स तेनास्य प्रीतो भवति दैत्यप
yaṁ yam uddiśya dīyeran deva-sumanasaḥ prabho | maṅgalārthaḥ sa tenāsya prīto bhavati daityapa ||
Wika ni Śukra: “O panginoon, alinmang diyos ang siyang pinatutungkulan ng pag-aalay ng mga bulaklak, ang diyos na iyon ay labis na malulugod sa nag-aalay dahil sa handog na yaon, at masigasig na kikilos para sa kapakanan at mapalad na kabutihan ng nag-aalay.”
