कुरुवंशप्रश्नः—दुःषन्तस्य राजधर्मवर्णनम्

Kuru Lineage Inquiry and the Portrait of King Duḥṣanta’s Rule

देवा राजर्षयो ह्वात्र पुण्या ब्रह्मर्षयस्तथा । कीर्त्यन्ते धूतपाप्मान: कीर्त्यते केशवस्तथा,इसमें देवताओं, राजर्षियों तथा पुण्यात्मा ब्रह्मर्षियोंके, जिन्होंने अपने सब पाप धो दिये हैं, चरित्रका वर्णन किया गया है। इसके सिवा इस ग्रन्थमें भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णकी महिमाका भी कीर्तन किया जाता है

devā rājarṣayo hvātra puṇyā brahmarṣayas tathā | kīrtyante dhūtapāpmānaḥ kīrtyate keśavas tathā ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Dito ay ipinagdiriwang ang mga deva, ang mga rājārṣi (mga haring pantas), at gayundin ang mga banal na brahmarṣi—mga pantas na nahugasan na ang kanilang mga kasalanan. Sa mismong akdang ito, pinupuri rin si Keśava (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) at inaawit ang kanyang kaluwalhatian.”
