Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer (जरत्कारु-विवाह-नियमः)
क्रोधो हि धर्म हरति यतीनां दुःखसंचितम् । ततो धर्मविहीनानां गतिरिष्टा न विद्यते,क्रोध प्रयत्तशील साधकोंके अत्यन्त दुःखसे उपार्जित धर्मका नाश कर देता है। फिर धर्महीन मनुष्योंको अभीष्ट गति नहीं मिलती है
krodho hi dharmaṁ harati yatīnāṁ duḥkha-saṁcitam | tato dharma-vihīnānāṁ gatir iṣṭā na vidyate ||
Sinabi ni Śamīka: “Tunay na ninanakaw ng galit ang dharma na naipon ng mga ascetic (yati) sa mahabang paghihirap. Kaya para sa mga nawalan ng dharma, hindi nakakamtan ang ninanais na landas at pinagpalang hantungan.”
