Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta
The verse teaches prudent vigilance: when a rival’s power is known to be overwhelming, one must warn allies and prepare collectively to prevent unjust seizure of a valued and entrusted object (here, amṛta).
Kaśyapa addresses a group (implicitly the gods or stakeholders in the amṛta episode), cautioning them that a powerful figure may seize the amṛta by force; he supports the warning by citing Bṛhaspati’s assessment that the opponent’s strength is incomparable.
