Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
तां भड़्क््त्वा स महाशाखां स्मयमानो विलोकयन् । अथात्र लम्बतो5पश्यद् वालखिल्यानधोमुखान्,उस महाशाखाको तोड़कर गरुड मुसकराते हुए उसकी ओर देखने लगे। इतनेहीमें उनकी दृष्टि वालखिल्य नामवाले महर्षियोंपर पड़ी, जो नीचे मुँह किये उसी शाखामें लटक रहे थे
tāṁ bhaṅktvā sa mahāśākhāṁ smayamāno vilokayan | athātra lambato 'paśyad vālakhilyān adhomukhān ||
Pagkabali niya sa malaking sangang iyon, si Garuḍa ay ngumiti habang lumilingon-lingon. Noon din, napansin niya ang mga pantas na tinatawag na Vālakhilya, na nakabitin sa mismong sangang iyon, nakataob at nakabaligtad ang ulo.
