कश्यप उवाच कच्चिद् व: कुशल नित्यं भोजने बहुलं सुत । कच्चिच्च मानुषे लोके तवाजन्न॑ विद्यते बहु,कश्यपजीने पूछा--बेटा! तुमलोग कुशलसे तो हो न? विशेषतः प्रतिदिन भोजनके सम्बन्धमें तुम्हें विशेष सुविधा है न? क्या मनुष्यलोकमें तुम्हारे लिये पर्याप्त अन्न मिल जाता है
Translation
Sinabi ni Kaśyapa: “Anak ko, kayo ba’y laging nasa mabuting kalagayan? Lalo na sa pagkain—may kasaganaan ba kayo araw-araw? Sa daigdig ng mga tao, may sapat bang pagkain para sa iyo?”
