ततोअर्जुनो वेगवद्धिज्वलिताग्रैरजिद्ागै: । शरैर्विध्वंसयामास गिरे: शृड़ं सहस्रधा,यह देख अर्जुनने प्रज्वलित नोकवाले वेगवान् एवं सीधे जानेवाले बाणोंद्वारा उस पर्वत-शिखरको हजारों टुकड़े करके गिरा दिया
tato 'rjuno vegavaddhijvalitāgrair ajidāgaiḥ | śarair vidhvaṃsayāmāsa gireḥ śṛṅgaṃ sahasradhā ||
Nang makita iyon, si Arjuna ay gumamit ng mga palasong ubod-bilis, may nagliliyab na dulo at tuwid ang lipad, at dinurog ang tuktok ng bundok sa sanlibong piraso hanggang ito’y gumuho.
