Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

dharmarāje hṛtiprītyā pūrṇacandra ivāmale |

prājānāṃ remire tulyaṃ netrāṇi hṛdayāni ca ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Dahil sa taos-pusong pagmamahal nila kay Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira)—dalisay at nakalulugod na gaya ng walang dungis na kabilugan ng buwan—tuwing masisilayan siya ng mga nasasakupan, sabay na nagagalak ang kanilang mga mata at puso. Ang kanyang presensya’y nagdudulot ng iisang, likás na ligaya, na wari’y ang dharma mismo’y naging lantad sa anyo ng isang hari.
