The verse highlights dharmic conduct: honoring a worthy Brahmin/guest by rising promptly. Respect shown through bodily action (standing up) is presented as an ethical norm for the noble, reinforcing humility and reverence toward spiritual merit.
A radiant eminent Brahmin approaches and is formally announced. Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa immediately rise from their seats and stand, signaling respectful reception and readiness to serve or listen.
