समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī

आभिषेचनिकं पर्व धर्मराजस्य धीमत: । प्रविभागो गृहाणां च पर्वोक्ते तदनन्तरम्‌,तदनन्तर धर्मबुद्धिसम्पन्न धर्मराज युधिष्ठिरके अभिषेकका पर्व है तथा इसके पश्चात्‌ गृहप्रविभागपर्व है

ābhiṣecanikaṃ parva dharmarājasya dhīmataḥ | pravibhāgo gṛhāṇāṃ ca parvokte tadanantaram ||

Ang kasunod na bahagi ay ang Ābhiṣecanika Parvan, na nagsasalaysay ng pag-aabhiseka—ang banal na pagpapahid at pagtatalaga sa trono—kay Dharmarāja Yudhiṣṭhira na marunong at matuwid. Kaagad pagkatapos nito, nagpapatuloy ang salaysay sa paghahati at pagtatalaga ng mga sambahayan. Ipinakikita ng pagkakasunod na ito ang paghaharing nakaugat sa dharma: pinagtitibay ng pagtatalaga ang lehitimong kapangyarihan, at pinananatili ng maayos na pamamahagi ang kaayusang panlipunan.
