उच्चैःश्रवसः वर्णविपणः तथा नागशापः
Uccaiḥśravas Color-Wager and the Nāga Curse
विष्णुरुवाच बलं॑ ददामि सर्वेषां कर्मतद् ये समास्थिता: । क्षोभ्यतां कलश: सर्वैर्मन्दर: परिवर्त्यताम्,श्रीविष्णु बोले--जो लोग इस कार्यमें लगे हुए हैं, उन सबको मैं बल दे रहा हूँ। सब लोग पूरी शक्ति लगाकर मन्दराचलको घुमावें और इस सागरको क्षुब्ध कर दें
viṣṇur uvāca balaṁ dadāmi sarveṣāṁ karma tad ye samāsthitāḥ | kṣobhyatāṁ kalaśaḥ sarvair mandaraḥ parivartyatām ||
Sinabi ni Viṣṇu: “Ipinagkakaloob ko ang lakas sa lahat ng matatag na tumanggap sa gawaing ito. Hayaan ninyong sama-samang haluin ang karagatan; at paikutin ang Mandara nang buong lakas.”
