और्वकृत-क्रोधाग्नि-निग्रहः
Aurva’s Containment of the Wrath-Fire
दृष्टवैव चारुवदने चन्द्रात् कान्ततरं तव । वदन पद्मपत्राक्ष॑ मां मथ्नातीव मन्मथ:,'सुमुखि! जबसे मैंने चन्द्रमासे भी बढ़कर कमनीय एवं कमलदलके समान विशाल नेत्रोंसे युक्त तुम्हारे मुखका दर्शन किया है, तभीसे मनन््मथ मुझे मथ-सा रहा है”
dṛṣṭvaiva cāruvadane candrāt kāntataraṃ tava | vadana padmapatrākṣa māṃ mathnātīva manmathaḥ |
Wika ng Gandharva: “O ikaw na may kaibig-ibig na mukha—ang iyong mukha ay higit na maningning kaysa buwan. Mula nang masilayan ko iyon, na may mga matang malalapad na gaya ng talulot ng lotus, si Kāma (diyos ng pagnanasa) ay ginugulo at iniikid ang aking puso na wari’y hinahalo sa pamalo.”
