Aurva Episode: Restoration of Sight and Restraint of World-Destructive Anger
The verse underscores the ethical weight of lineage and public reputation: noble conduct and inherited virtue create a visible ‘prabhāva’ (influence) recognized across the world, implying a responsibility to uphold that standard.
A Gandharva addresses a person of renowned family, stating that he has personally seen, throughout the ocean-girdled earth, the evident influence and prestige of that noble lineage—an affirmation meant to acknowledge status and character.
